This one time I was at a craft fair and a wonderful soul loaded my roommate and I up with a pocket of jelly bellies each. The pear ones are my favorite. Thanks.

My favourite candy based memory is when, after eating waaaay too many pixi stix with my sister, i sneezed and sherbet came out of my nose! So embarrassing, especially as loads of my school chums were sat with us! I still love pixi stix though and thankfully i can now laugh at my sherbet tragedy! xx

My favorite candy memories are the Easters when we had Peeps o Plenty around the house. In order to relieve our sugar highs from Easter, we immediately turned to Pixie Stixs. The fun my siblings had daring me to snort the tart powder in my nose. I will never forget the burning sensation! Anyhow, to this day I can not go without my Peeps or Pixie Stixs at Easter.

I remember going to the local candy shop on my summer vacations and bringing all the money I had so that I could buy candy necklaces for my friends and I.

Every Saturday morning, my sisters and I would get 50 cents to spend at the local candy store. We would get a mini paper bag and very carefully select the penny candies that we wanted. It was one of the biggest decision of our week... whether to try and get the most amount of little candies or to spend it all on one big expensive treat!!

My fondest memories of grade school was stopping at the corner store on the way home. Even though there was a school bus to pick me up everyday, I would choose to walk instead so that I could go to the store with whatever pocket change I had and buy a small bag of treats for the rest of the walk home. For just 5 cents, I could get a few Mojos, a Twizzler or a pack of Rockets. Today the corner store is gone, but the memories live on...

I have fond memories of candies all through my childhood! I remember seeing Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when I was about 7 or 8. How I dreamed to live in a world as colourful and magnificent as a the Chocolate Factory brought to life in the movie!

I remember my sister, best friend and I spending our pennies on pixie stixs and excitedly climbing to the top of our jungle gym. With the naivety of childhood, we would boldly perch ourselve on the top ladder rung, ready to take flight as we poured the contents of the pixie stix on our head. I truly believed, that at least once, one of us would begin to soar. Thank goodness for childhood fantasies and the candy that made it seem so possible and alway so sweet.
